For Yelp, google "Yelp Taipei restaurants." For another food website, do the same. Answer the following questions:

1. What Indian restaurant would you like to try? What are two interesting dishes there?

2. What Mexican restaurant do you want to try next? Give two reasons.

3. What German restaurant looks good? Why?

4. What foreign bakery interests you? What do you want to order there?

5. Is there a foreign restaurant near your house that you have not tried?

PART II: Grunge music is an alternative genre that became popular in the late 1980s in Seattle, USA. Some great grunge bands include Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins, Soundgarden, Sonic Youth. Grunge is a combination of punk music and rock, with thoughtful lyrics. Getting Acquainted

We will use this blog and Google Meet to conduct our classes. I will send you the invite to Google Meet about ten minutes before each class begins.

We will use Top Notch 1: Third Edition. I have photographed the textbook for the students who have not yet purchased it. Please buy it ASAP. I will take attendance. For every hour of class a student misses (is absent from), I will deduct 1% from your final grade. Please attend and participate.
