Getting Acquainted

We will use this blog and Google Meet to conduct our classes. I will send you the invite to Google Meet about ten minutes before each class begins.

We will use Top Notch 1: Third Edition. I have photographed the textbook for the students who have not yet purchased it. Please buy it ASAP. I will take attendance. For every hour of class a student misses (is absent from), I will deduct 1% from your final grade. Please attend and participate. 

PART I. We will do this in class. If you do it, I will give you 10/10 for a grade. I will check during our class. The work is on page 5, starting at 3.


PART II: Who uses English, Page 10. Read about the three people and answer the questions with a complete sentence. I will give you another 10/10 for a grade. I will check this during class as well.

PART III: 

First. Go to YouTube. You must find a song you like. But it must be either a Beastie Boys song or a Red Hot Chili Peppers song. Choose one song. Answer these questions with a sentence:

3. What happened in the music video?

4. What is the mood of the song?

5. What musical instruments did you see them play?

6. Why do you like this song?
