Last Week Notes: A Time to Write

The university needs one essay (story

or writing project) every semester. The

story is ten percent of your grade. We

actually give the essay to the university.

They will have a look to see that you

did a good job. First, we need ten

answers. Then we can make a story.

drinks a lot of whiskey there.

Match the verbs when you write.

1. Have you ever been to Thailand?   P.P.

Yes, I have been to Thailand.

Ever is only in the question, not answer.

2. Where do you live?    Present tense

I live in Iceland.

If you start a paragraph in the past tense,

all of the paragraph is past tense.

I will go to Canada during the winter holiday.  (Future tense.

I am going to change my daughter into a Canadian high school

for grade 12. The reason for that is she is going to go to

university in Vancouver. ALWAYS WHEN YOU WRITE,

EXPLAIN.

If you start writing a paragraph in future tense,

all of the paragraph is future tense.
